Homepage redesign for Yahoo!

A redesign exercise of the German Yahoo! portal. I performed a heuristics analysis, flagged all the bad design and redesigned the desktop version of the homepage from the ground up.
The new design is spacious with redundant elements removed. It focuses on delivering news articles while keeping advertisement space in a visible but not intrusive area. I introduced color coded categories for quicker readability.

I specialize in creating websites, apps and motion design experiences. Combined with front-end dev skills, I’m a one-man powerhouse of design and creativity.

Drawing from an extensive background in visual effects, motion graphics and 3D design makes me stand out, as I bring a unique blend of creativity and technical prowess to every project.

My career spans almost 2 decades of 3D modeling, visual effects compositing for commercials, leading teams on complex projects, implementing visual and technical solutions on various platforms and mentoring and lecturing hundreds of students.
